–
certified ready to receive a call. Ruth has
begun work as chaplain at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise,
ID. She has initiated conversation with the Boise
Presbytery and hopes to be examined for ordination at their
Presbytery meeting at the end of April. Our committee will
work with the Boise COM/CPM to facilitate this process. Ruth
writes: “I
absolutely want to have the ordination service in St.
Cloud. Minnesota Valleys is my church home and I can't
imagine celebrating anywhere else.”
We’ll keep the Presbytery informed as things progress.

“ready to receive a call” at that time. Sara will have a
busy spring as she is getting married in March, graduating
from seminary in May, and will also be seeking her first
call to Ministry of Word and Sacrament.
Jeremiah Knabe

Seminary. Jeremiah is doing field work at a church and
hopes to do CPE and take ordination exams this summer. We
expect to meet with Jeremiah for his annual consultation
this summer.

Presbyterian Church has endorsed Daniel Voigt as an Inquirer

Ministry. CPM will meet with Dan this summer to discern
whether to enroll him as an Inquirer.
REQUESTS OF THE
PRESBYTERY:
Please hold
each of these persons in your thoughts and prayers.
If your congregation
has someone who is considering ordination as a minister of
word and sacrament, please contact the Committee on
Preparation for Ministry as soon as possible so that we can
begin working with them early in their discernment process.
An outline of the preparation process can be found in the
Presbytery’s Manual of Operations.
