140 Presbyterians from Minnesota Valleys, East Iowa, Des Moines, Blackhawk, South Dakota, North Central Iowa, and John Knox presbyteries are in New Orleans the week of January 21-25, helping with reconstruction after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, seeing how much damage 140 Presbyterians can fix in one week.

This trip was many months in the planning, and it is our hope that not only will we fulfill Christ's challenge and call to care for our brothers and sisters no matter where they are, and to give of ourselves without counting the cost, it is our hope that we will build bridges across our own presbytery boundaries and strengthen our relationships with brothers and sisters closer to home.
