Actions Taken:
1. Introductions and review of responsibilities of the CG&D Committee
2. .Approved minutes of the November 13th, 2004 meeting.
3. Financial: Reviewed the Account QuickReport & definitions of the various
accounts.
4. Approved the request of a Pastors Theological Educational Loan Reimbursement Program Fund.
5. .Approved request from Rev. Ray Larson, Cross Lake Presbyterian Church, for $1200 radio/press advertisements for community outreach "tackling the tough ones" series coming in late May or early June and then again in the early fall. Each segment runs 3-4 days. Funded from E3150 New Church Development Suppot Program.
6. Voted to approve Grant Requests $800 per person for the Presbyterian Transformation and Multicultural Connection July 14-17, 2005 in New York City to the following members: Chuck Moore, Dorie Oja, Shirley Luhman, Duane Sherbing & Bill Yueill.
7.Voted to approve the motion to fund Scholarship applicants to the Transformation Conference in New York for the full amount $800 per person, but with encouragement to make some partial contribution. The following individuals will be awarded scholarships: Cindy Rosa, Clay Rosa, Patricia Rosa, Robbie Madison, Duane Botzek, Kathy Frank and 1-15 people from Redwood Falls.

Reports from Transformation Churches:
Bill Yueill, Coordinator, reported progress for the following churches
:
.Silver Lake, Faith Church – Completed all 4 Gatherings (needs Certificate); current Mision and Vision statements serve dual purpose of transformation and interim pastor search; idea of partnership with Redwood; 2 people may attend conference in July.
Christ Church in Marshall – in process of writing Covenant; Cluster used Al's powerpoint on becoming a welcoming church & Robust Church video; possibly will pair with Foley. 3-4 people are interested in Synod School in July.
First Church, Redwood Falls – wants to send 10 to 15 people to the Transformation Conference, some second-timers, but most will be new; RWF & Faith may pair up
Crosby Ironton Church – working on budgeting, committee job descriptions and evangelism; may start transformation in a couple months.
Ashford Church, Milroy – completed three meetings; personal growth is huge.
At least three people plan to attend Transformation conference in July.
First Presbyterian Church, Foley -Rev. Al Jergenson sent the video on becoming a welcoming church to Marshall for their cluster 4 gathering and also the Robust Church video. No covenant signed as yet
Request from Jane Hoffman, Parish Nurse at First Presbyterian in St. Cloud, for financial assistance to purchase a defibrillator for the church: Motion by Charles Moore to grant $500 toward this need was tabled until the CG&D meeting in May upon receiving more information regarding total cost, training etc.
Request from Partners in Faith, Life and Witness to consider how CG&D can be involved in the Stewardship Workshop scheduled for April 22-23 at Presbytery Office. Teams of 3-4 people must include the Pastor. Don will have discussion with Mike.
Mission and Ministry Visits:
A schedule was passed out. Visits will be initiated by CG&D team in conjuction with FL&W according to a format being worked out by Rev. Tom Gard.
Biannual Clearwater Conference:
Duane Sherbing and Jean Bauer will be representing CG&D, at least for the first conference call and report back in May.
Next Meeting of Congregational Growth and Development will be Saturday, May 21st.
