Actions Taken:
1.Apprived Minutes of the May 13th, 2006 meeting
2.Authorize and endorse the request from Osakis First Presbyterian Church, on behalf of the 8 churches in the area, to receive a grant ($400) from the Interdenominational Partnership project administered by the PC(USA) Rural Ministry Network office Grant Program for Rebuilding Rural Community Life. A new sign (total cost $800) will welcome people to their town and churches.
3.Hispanic-Anglo Ministry Partnership Project. Jim Krapf suggests a task force to develop a job description for a coordinator with possible stipend of $500/mo.
4.Motion: To grant 5 scholarship requests @ $170 each (3 members from the Edgerton Church and 2 members from Lismore Church and their minister, Chris Herring) for the Synod "Change of Heart" conference in Des Moines October 6-8, 2006. Passed.
An increase of $30 per request, earmarked for gas, was approved by the committee via e-mail request dated 19 September 2006. An additional scholarship request from Lorna Van Der Linden, Lismore, for $200 was granted by e-mail on 21 Sept. 2006.
5.Received a Pastor's Theological Educational Loan Reimbursement application. Motion was approved and passed.
6.Motion: To approve Financial Report and Budgets for 2007-2008 Passed
Motion:To grant $1000 request by the Foley Church (Cluster budget). Passed
Motion: To authorize $250 donation to support Trans. Conf. if needed. Passed
7.Received report from Jim Krapf and Charles Moore on Tri-Annual visits at Beaver Creek, Rushmore and Worthington

Actions Pending:
1.Jim Krapf presented a report from Synod School.
2.Motion: by Bill Kleymann to support the vision of a Two Day Presbytery Conference in the year 2007. Passed. PFLW have three volunteers, Karen Ferkinhoff, Judy Kovacs and Larry Leach who would work with CG&D members to explore possibilities of a conference. Shirley Luhmann has some preliminary information. Lynne Osteraas, Charles Moore and Jim Krapf as consultant have volunteered to pursue this idea.
Next meeting of Congregational Growth & Development Committee will be Saturday, December 2 , 10:00 a.m. at the Presbytery office, Willmar, MN with pizza lunch.
