Minutes
February 21, 2008

Members Present: Deb Klaassen; Pat Rosa; Rev. Robert Raedeke; Rev. Robert Bellin; Rev. Mark Chamberlain; Tim Hunt; Karen Ferkinhoff; Rev. Leah Hauser, Kathy Terpstra-Liaison from Council and Executive Presbyter, Rev. Sue Coller.

Members Absent: Laura Kohler, Carrie Colvin-Murphy, Rev. Bev Modlin and Katie VandeBrake.

Deb Klaassen opened the meeting, with Prayer and Devotion by Rev. Robert Bellin.

Introduction of new members

Election of Secretary, Pat Rosa accepted.

Minutes of November meeting accepted.

Budget is $10,000, accepted. No monies have been spent as of this meeting.

Correspondence: Jerry Frieborg from the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Renville spoke on Missionaries from Bangladesh, with a possibility of them speaking at May Presbytery. Kathy Terpstra asked us to read and review, for next meeting, an article about Riverside Administrative Commission.

Rev. Sue Coller gave us an update on MASH Committee.

Either Rev. Robert Bellin or Rev. Leah Hauser will do invitation and Prayer for offering at May Presbytery meeting in Winnebago

Karen Ferkinhoff will get information about offering in Presbytery packet and Valley Bridge.

Evangelism: Rev. Rober Raedeke; Rev. Mark Chamberlain

Karen Ferkinhoff gave a report on the APCE convention she attended.

Camp Scholarships will remain as last year: Budget $3000 - $50 per camper, $250 per church. Synod School: Budget $1000 - $100 per person, $250 per family.
Valley Bridge: April and May issues will have articles.

Evangelism Surveys, Mission Emphasis for November Presbytery Meeting and Stewardship Research, which Rev. Robert Raedeke will do, were discussed.

The remaining Pentecost money was divided between "The Connection" at Canby, Hope Presbyterian at Spicer and Big Buddies of Rock County(mentor books).

Making another trip to Louisiana in Spring of 2009 was discussed
