Actions Taken:
Rev. Daniel Billings asked for a volunteer to take committee minutes. Margaret Martenson volunteered.

Meeting opened with devotions on the "Great Commission" and prayer by Rev. Dan Billings.

Minutes of the last meeting (4/28/05) were approved as read.

Budget - 2005-2006: $1150 remaining for Camp Scholarships---$50 remaining for Synod School---$750 remaining for C. Ed. (could use some of this for Synod School).

Motion made and passed: $250 scholarship for 5 campers from Zion, Ellsworth. Motion made and passed: $50 each for Daniel and Wesley Olson, Madelia.

APCE: Congregations need to apply for scholarships for this meeting in Louisville. Article will appear in Aug-Sept. Valley Bridge.

MISSION:
Sudanese Partnership: As of June 10, 2005 Rev. Dan Billings had conference call regarding 1/2 time position for Daniel JOseph who will be ordained. Dan will invite Daniel Joseph to lead the worship at September presbytery meeting. Motion, and passed, to offer Daniel Joseph honorarium of $100 plus travel expense and mileage.
Discussion on Presbytery meeting offerings. Some congregations are inspired to give more for these special offerings. Pentecost Offering will go to Southwestern (MN) Youth Services, Magnolia, MN. Motion, and passed, use $600 from L5056 account to Southwest Youth Services. (Pentecost Offering is for "youth at risk". Deb Klaassen will write an article about the SW MN Youth Service for the Valley Bridge.

STEWARDSHIP:
Stewardship Conference - Discussion on feed-back from churches who attended the conference. We'll discuss this at October Partners in Faith, Life & Witness Meeting. Discussion about presenting Christian Ed, Stewardship, etc. to cluster meetings.

EVANGELISM
Motion, and passed, to send Evangelism Sunday mailing to each congregation in July. Suggestion: to change the name of "Big Brother Program" to Shepherding Program or another appropriate name.

SEPTEMBER 17 PRESBYTERY MEETING:
Mankato church, site of meeting, is in process of celebrating 150 years. Their social hall will display activities of 150 years. Rev. Dan and Lori will find an area for PFLW to display our committee's material. Each display: size of card table. Each church bring its display table. Displays will be 1. Dubuque Seminary(in our Synod) will send items, 2. Pipestone: Food shelf, Clothes Closet, 3. Triennium, 4. Heifer Project, 5. Mission Yearbook of Prayer(Adult & Children), 6. Okoboji & Clearwater Forest Camps, 7. Esther's Kitchen, 8. habitat for Humanity, 9. Foley Mission Tearm, 10. Guatemala Clean Water Project. Displays should be set up by 9 a.m. Congregations participating should contact Karen Lange at Presbytery Office by August 19. Jackie Moore will contact Judy Kovak to be greeter and show people where to set up mission displays. Time Line: Daniel Joseph - 20 minutes. Mankato Church - 10 minutes(15 Min. max). Sharing Time - 30 minutes (stories in mission:suggess 2-3 min. from each project). SPEAKER: Plan A-Daniel Joseph. Plan B - Rev. Dawn Carder. Plan C - Rev. Robert Raedeke. PRESBYTERY SERVICE THEME: Mission. HYMNS: 485, 435 & 432. LITURGY: Call to Worship - Dan Billings - Celtic read by Jackie Moore. Statement of Faith: Mike Foster will e-mail this to Dan Billings the section on "MIssion", Dan Billings will read. Confession of Faith: Rev. Robert Raedeke. Scripture Lession: Dan Smith. Offering Dedication: Dan Billings. Open "Mic" time for sharing mission projects, sharing stories, sharing gifts.

AUGUST MEETING
Wo will chair? Dan Billings on Vacation. Update on Camp Scholarship fund: $650 remaining (Virginia).
Motion, and passed to renew $550 "Resource Center" subscription.
