$4000 is the anticipated cost with these moneys secured: $500, Madelia Pres. Ch, Mission Endowment; $1500 Stinson fund administered by Presbyteries Social Action Ministry Network; $300, ST Cloud First Ch.

Karen requests that Virginia transfer allocated funds to CEDEPCA where no misappropriations have occured.

Karen reported that important orientation for anyone going to Guatemala includes the video PRECARIOUS PEACE and Karla Kohl's History (of mssion there the note taker presumes)

The balance of program initiatives was discussed. Some intiatives started with Occidente, in other issues MVP pressed for a particular position, particularly in the involvement of women as leaders. The attempt is to find common concerns and common faith in Jesus Christ.

Post Script: I reviewed the last 2 years of minutes on Presbytery's
web site. It was an informative tour of efforts, questions, budget
requests, participation and relationships. Nothing of a private nature in them would prohibit listing them as "public minutes" on the Presbytery web site.
