LEADERSHIP ISSUES.
Partnership Team
1. Paul cannot continue as moderator. He will contact Bev Raske (Renville Ch.)as a candidate for the job. Others suggested were Deb Crusan (Wheaton Ch.), Bruce Drakely (Russell Ch.). 2. Bill Yueill will be secretary.
Water Projects. Paul suggested a Water Project subcommittee with a project overseer to move ahead on details for the next project.
Harold Kampa with support from the Partnership Moderator agreed to do this. Janet Prehn will be the communications link.

WATER PROJECTS
Info on completed installation at Sibilia: The installation survived the hurricane. Hygene training needs reinforcement. Tools and extra material have been moved to the next project which is Fuentes de Luz (Fountain of Light) in Xela. Gary will check with Vieanney on their readiness.
To have trained Occident people was a big plus.
Next Project
Date? February seems too soon. Some people need to attend Clean Water Univ. (registration now $550 + travel = about $1,000 Training dates March 8-12, Apr 19-23, Sept 6-10, Oct 18-22.
Personnel - total of 6. 1.Gary Woehler, 2.Harold Kampa (?5.Nancy?) 3.Janet Prehn (depends on timing and getting to Clean Water Univ., ?4. Dwayne Sherbing.
Consensus was that we would work on one water project per year.
Funds needed:
Participants are responsible for funding their own way, which includes help from their home congregation.
Approx. $3,000 for installlation, teaching materials.
$3,600 air fare
200 interpreter
50 gifts
$6,850 ---rounded to $7000 plus $300 whose purpose the secretary didn't get.
WHAT OTHER PROJECTS SHOULD WE CONSIDER?
1. A Minn. Valleys Presbytery delegation to visit Occident Presbytery which meets in October. It would raise consciousness of the Partnership, and could be a part of renewing the partnership agreement.
2. Occidente delegation coming here. They want to meet Presbyterians in a places where faith is the topic. ie worship, Bible study, etc. A youth event - possibly a Presbytery Youth Connection event.
3. We'd like delegations going both ways, but if the double swap isn't possible The most productive choice for the partnership's future seems to be our delegation attending Occidente Presbytery since they have mentioned that expectation several times.
Next Meeting date for our Partnership committee- Paul will check Sue's and his schedules.
Respectfully, Bill Yueill
